Lajna Philadelphia Promotes Peace at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of

Archeology and Anthropology: 16th annual Peace around the World Day.
Philadelphia-Lajna prepared fun and interactive displays:
  • Islamic architecture slideshow: Visitors listened to the recitation of the Holy Qur’an via headphones
  • Colorful tables displays on Islamic Holidays, the Holy Qur’an and the Five Pillars of Islam
  •  Calligraphy table: Children had their names written in Arabic
  • Henna hand painting station
Overall the event was a huge success; 200 visitors. It was noted by many that Lajna’s
presentation of Islam was the most informative, Alhumdullilah!
