Assalamo Alaikum wa Rahmatullahe wa Barakatahu.

Dear Lajna Ima'illah and Nasiratul Ahmadiyya USA,

We are embarking on another new year together, Alhumdulillah!!! I pray that we are able to reflect on the blessings we received in the previous year and note where we can each improve. It was especially wonderful to have our beloved Khalifatul Masih V aba visiting us in the USA toward the conclusion of our previous year. I still feel the spirit of in his presence and love shown from the members gathered to be in his company. May we continue to feel the significance of Khalifat.

This year we are celebrating 100 years of Lajna Ima 'illah, MashaAllah!!! We have some big goals to accomplish in the new year: 100 % participation in salaat, recitation of the Holy Quran, observance of purdah and engagement with Lajna Imaillah and jamaat activities. I know we can do it! But we have to work hard, make sacrifices and help each other. May Allah give us strength and enable us to fulfill these objectives remembering:

Those who are steadfast in seeking the favour of their Lord, and observe Prayer, and spend secretly and openly out of that with which We have provided them, and overcome evil with good. For them is the best reward of the Hereafter: (13:23). Ameen.

Happy New Year & Looking forward to Celebrating Lajna Ima'illah Centenary with you!❤

Dear Lajna Ima'illah and Nasiratul Ahmadiyyat,

By the grace and mercy of Allah, we witnessed another Ramadhan. As we prepare for and enjoy our Eid-ul-Fitr gatherings, remember what we strive to accomplish during Ramadhan. Do not let go of those efforts. The journey continues to reach a nearness to Allah through worldly sacrifices, prayers and good deeds. As stated in shura Al-Ahqaf 46:14-15:

    اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ قَالُوۡا رَبُّنَا اللّٰہُ ثُمَّ اسۡتَقَامُوۡا فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡہِمۡ وَلَا ہُمۡ یَحۡزَنُوۡنَ

Verily, those who say, Our Lord is Allah, and then remain steadfast-no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.

These are the dwellers of the Garden. They shall abide therein, a recompense for what they did

Eid Mubarak! Remembering you all in prayer.

    Dear Lajna Ima'illah and Nasiratul Ahmadiyyat USA;

    السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Assalamo Alaikum wa Rahmatullahe wa Barakatahu.

It has been a blessing serving with you in the previous year, Alhumdulillah. Despite our personal and community challenges, we have been inspired by beloved Khalifatul Masih V aba to persevere. Our lajna/nasirat national programs “Certainty of Faith” lead us to find “My place in Islam”. We have learned together, mashaAllah.

I like to highlight a few points to take us into the New Year from our assigned book reading, So, said the Promised Messiah a.s.:

    1. “…The believer has been commanded to make his manners and character so excellent that they may become epidemic” pg. 21.
    2. “…the eyes can see and certify that it is true that there is only one way to make progress and that is that people should recognize God and have a living faith in Him” pg. 84.
    3. From the example of Hazrat Abu Bakr ra acceptance of the Holy Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.: “…experience shows that those who indulge in questioning are usually deprived of guidance…those who think good of others and are patient, they have the full share of guidance…the light of Faith in their nature…” pg.85.
May Allah guide us through this New Year 2022 and enable us to strengthen our taqwa, faith, plans to serve and courage to wear our purdah so people recognize we are the servants of God and mantle of Ahmadiyyat, drawing others to His light.

“Our Lord, let not our hearts become perverse after Thou hast guided us; and bestow on us mercy from Thyself; surely, Thou alone art the Bestower.” (3:9)

“Our Lord, forgive us our errors and our excesses in our conduct, and make firm our steps and help us against the disbelieving people.” (3:148)

Happy New Year! Pray Hard. Stay Connected.

JazakAllah Ahsan Al Jaza/May Allah grant you the best of rewards.

Assalamo Alaikum wa Rahmatullahe wa Barakatahu.

    Dear Lajna and Nasirat,

I pray that you are doing well. Eid Mubarak! Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar! I am grateful this day has returned and we are present.

Huzoor (aba) has been recently providing us with accounts on the life of Hazrat Umar (ra). He reminded us how Hazrat Umar (ra) was conscientious concerning the condition and care of others. For example, Hazrat Umar (ra) established rivers and streams in order to provide water for all people; established mosques, judiciaries, barracks, offices, guest houses, hotels and schools.

His Holiness(aba) said that it was based on the examples set by the Holy Prophet(s.a.w.), that as Islam began spreading far and wide and different nations began joining Islam, that Hazrat Umar(ra) established a system of taking census (tajneed) in order to determine the number of citizens, and then distributed food under a rationing system in order to ensure that all those coming in to the fold of Islam were able to eat. (Alislam.org)

As we gather to enjoy and reflect on this day of Eid ul Adha, let's make sure our name and information is in the AMC tajneed, remember the examples of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, strive to emulate them and pray for each other. Eid Mubarak.

Assalamo Alaikum wa Rahmatullahe wa Barakatahu.

Dear Lajna Ima'illah and Nasiratul Ahmadiyya USA,

I pray that you are doing well and striving to be the best Ahmadi. We have passed through another Ramadhan, Alhumdulillah. Our dear Khalifatul Masih V aba stated in his last friday sermon of Ramadhan (May 7, 2021):

"Today is the last Friday of this year’s Ramadan; but it should not just be limited to this. In fact, this Friday should open new paths for us in the future, and the virtuous habits which we established during Ramadan should continue on past Ramadan and should increase. If we don’t do this, then there will have been no benefit to passing through the month of Ramadan...We should pray that our faith, and the faith of our children be safeguarded, We should pray to be safeguarded from the satanic forces of today, and we must always stay true to our faith and worship, and do justice in our prayers. We should also remember those Ahmadis all around the world who are facing hardships on account of their faith. It is our duty to continuously pray, now during Ramadan and after Ramadan as well...".

Dear lajna and nasirats, we have a large task ahead of us but we have the capability with the help of Allah to achieve our goals and progress in the name of Ahmadiyyat. May Allah enable us. Ameen. I look forward to seeing you in person, inshaAllah.

Ramadhan Mubarak! Enjoy your Eid and remember us all in your prayers.

JazakAllah Ahsan Al Jaza/May Allah grant you the best of rewards.

    السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

    Dear Lajna Ima'illah and Nasiratul Ahmadiyyat USA;

Assalamo Alaikum wa Rahmatullahe wa Barakatahu.

I pray that you are doing well. Our holy month of Ramadhan is here. I pray; “O my Lord, make my entry a good entry and make me come forth a good forthcoming. And grant me from Thyself a helping power” (17:81). My request is for us to focus our efforts on prayers and listening to Huzoor aba with intensity this month. Minimize the busy work of organizing projects of no benefit to mankind.

Some of us may be going to the Mosque for prayers and some may not. But let us imagine that we are standing together praying our Taraveeh prayers and asking Allah to help us and ease our trials and make us successful in our endeavors.

As I reviewed our last year Taleem and Tarbiyyat workbook I noticed a treasure that may have been overlooked: Pages 62 to 63, the appendix of prayers from the Holy Quran. There you will find:

    • Prayer for recovery from disease
    • Prayer for Forgiveness and Mercy
    • Prayer for Spiritual Progress and Forgiveness
    • Prayer for Just decisions
    • Prayer for deliverance from grief and sorrow
    • Prayer for acceptance of prayers. And even the prayer for help on being overwhelmed

We have endured many trials over the past year and the key to managing these trials are prayers. Now we add fasting or if unable to fast then the feeding of another to achieve our spiritual objectives; “So that you (we) may become righteous. That you (we) may exalt Allah for His having guided you (us) and That you (we) may be grateful”.  And we have an opportunity to seek “the Night of Decrees during the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadhan when the Archangel, Gabriel appears with a host of angels and all of them pray for the person who may be standing or sitting in prayers to Allah, the exalted” (The Muslim Book of Fasting: Ramadhan and its’ Blessings). I pray that we have this blessed experience. Ramadhan Mubarak!

Requesting your prayers for our Jamaat Ahmadiyya/members worldwide.

    WasSalaams with love and appreciation❤,
    your sister
