Taleem (Education)

Our Goal

The Taleem department facilitates a continuous learning process for all Lajna by providing guidance, material and an infrastructure. The primary focus is to educate Lajna on the fundamentals of our religious and the contemporary issues to help them become a good ambassador of Islam in the society.

 

9th National Hifz-ul-Qur’an (virtual) Camp

The 2024 National Hifz-ul-Qur’an Camp (NHQC) will be held virtually from Monday, July 29 to Thursday, August 8. Please register for this camp (per the Rules and Requirements listed below) by July 7, 2024. Each selected student will have an individualized syllabus based on her/his current knowledge and skill level. Insha-Allah.

  1. This camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 15.
  2. Students are expected to be fluent in the proper recitation of the Holy Qur’an (tajweed rules).
  3. Students are expected to have Zoom video call capability from their homes (they will need a computer with a camera, high-speed internet, and a quiet/well-lit space with a clean backdrop).
  4. Registered students will be screened (via phone interviews) for eligibility on a first come, first served basis.
  5. The classes will be held daily between 11:00 AM ET and 6:00 PM ET with various breaks.
  6. The students will be expected to spend an additional 2 hours daily on memorization.
  7. Students are required to be punctual and diligent in memorizing assigned verses.
  8. Any student misconduct can result in expulsion from the class without any questions.
  9. Interested students should register on Google Forms by July 7.
