Zion Mosque Construction Progress
The Zion mosque is close to completion, InshaAllah. Allah has blessed our prayers, sacrifices and hard work: we had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of this special project. Let's continue to pray the Zion mosque is completed soon and we witness;
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
When the help of Allah comes, and the victory,
And thou seest men entering the religion of Allah in troops,
Glorify thy Lord, with His praise, and seek forgiveness of Him. Surely, He is Oft-Returning with compassion.
Al-Nasr 110:1-4
بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ ﴿۱﴾
اِذَا جَآءَ نَصۡرُ اللّٰہِ وَالۡفَتۡحُ ۙ﴿۲﴾
وَرَاَیۡتَ النَّاسَ یَدۡخُلُوۡنَ فِیۡ دِیۡنِ اللّٰہِ اَفۡوَاجًا ۙ﴿۳﴾
فَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّکَ وَاسۡتَغۡفِرۡہُ ؕؔ اِنَّہٗ کَانَ تَوَّابًا ٪﴿۴﴾
Fathe Azeem
The Zion Mosque has now been named "Fathe Azeem". It is not too late for your contribution.
Respected Presidents and all elders and Colleagues: Assalam O Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah
Just in - a piece of MTA News regarding the Fathe Azeem Mosque being built in the city of Zion. Kindly circulate it to all your members. The three structures are being built with great speed and care. It would be InshaAllah complete by mid-year 2022. A Mosque, an exhibition Center and a replica of Minaratul Masih (70 ft tall) are in the works. We have collected over 4.3 Million and still, we need another 400-500K, therefore donations are still being accepted for this project. All those who have not completed their pledges are requested to do so as the construction is speedily progressing. The Zion Project coordinators are requested to make the last dig efforts as in this month many Ahmadis have to make contributions for tax relief. This is the opportune time before December closes.
MTA has just prepared this nice video covering Huzur Aqdas' excerpts of the second-day address and an eyewitness account of the Foundation stone ceremony. Zion Mosque Construction Underway
The Zion Mosque Foundation Stone Ceremony
By the Grace of Allah, the Zion mosque brick laying event took place on July 10, 2021. Approximately 265 Ahmadi members and guests attended by invitation to the Chicago, Milwaukee and Zion jamaats amila, national amila representatives and local Zion jamaat members and guests. The event was held at the Zion-Benton High School. It started with prayers and moderated by Junyaid Latif Sahib of Zion, comments then followed from Naib Sadr - Falauddin Shams Sahib in charge of the construction project, Anwer Khan Sahib-National Secretary Terike Jadid and incharge of Zion mosque fundraising, Zion Jamaat President-Abu Bakr Sahib, State Representatives, Mayor Mckinney of Zion, Amir USA-Mirza Maghfoor Ahmad Sahib and others. Amir Sahib received on behalf of Huzoor aba a proclamation from the City of Zion.
After the presentations and lunch a small delegation of representatives of Jamaat Ahmadiyyat, local officials and a neighbor next to the Zion mosque site traveled to the construction site to lay a few of the foundation bricks. It was an exciting day. Lajna Ima'illah USA was represented and able to lay a brick at the construction site:
National Sadr Dhiya Tahira Bakr Sahiba received a brick from our beloved Huzoor aba with his prayers to lay on his behalf, mashaAllah.
In addition the following lajna members laid a brick: Amir Sahib wife serving as Regional South Midwest Sadr and National Honorary Member-Amtul Musawir Ahmad Sahiba, Zion majlis Sadr-Bushra Latif Sahiba, and Assistant to Anwer Khan Sahib Zion mosque publication project and serving as Chicago General Secretary-Sarah Ahmad Sahiba.
May Allah bless the continued construction of the Zion mosque and enable it to be the light of Ahmadiyyat that brings people into the folds of Islam. May this mosque be filled with Ahmadis dedicated to the mission of the Promised Messiah a.s. and fulfilling our duty to serve mankind. Ameen

Photos of the Bricks Laid at the Zion Mosque
The photos of the bricks that were laid at the Zion mosque. These first bricks were later laid in the Zion mosque foundation. The top three irregular shape bricks (thick square one), the long rectangle one from Huzoor (aba) laid by Amir Sahib USA, and the second smaller rectangle one from Huzoor (aba) laid by Lajna National Sadr-USA.
